Driving record results through strategy, diversification and partnerships
BMD recorded a $2.4 billion turnover for FY25, cementing its position as Australia’s largest privately owned civil contractor. The Group delivered a strong increase in net profit from FY24, driven by disciplined project selection, strong commercial management and continued diversification across sectors and regions.
Key highlights include:
- More than 100 projects completed, delivering critical infrastructure outcomes for clients and communities
- 22% female representation across the workforce
- $80.7 million spent with over 86 Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander businesses, supporting enduring community benefit.
BMD Chief Executive Officer Scott Power said the year highlighted the capability and resilience of the business, supported by strong collaboration across regions and sectors.
“This year, we strengthened our performance across key markets, particularly in Western Australia and New South Wales, while expanding our capability in complex infrastructure including marine, transport, defence and renewable energy.
“Our results reflect the confidence our clients place in BMD and our focus on delivering safe, high-quality and reliable outcomes that create value well beyond construction.”
He said the business also marked an important milestone with the refresh of its brand.
“We refreshed our brand identity for the first time in 22 years, bringing our operations together under a unified masterbrand. This signalled a new era of growth for the business, aligning with our purpose of powering futures and creating enduring legacies.”
